Chloramphenicol Supplement (1 vial per 500ml ) pk 10

A culture media supplement intended for the isolation of yeasts and moulds. Colistin and Nalidixic Acid is intended for use in culture media for the microbial analysis of food, animal feed, water and environmental samples and is for use with NCM0187.

Preparation

1. Using aseptic technique, remove the crimp cap and rubber stopper. Aseptically retain the stopper.
2. Reconstitute the contents of the vial using the appropriate volume of sterile 100% ethanol as indicated in the table below.
3. Replace the rubber stopper and gently shake or invert the contents to dissolve.
4. Add the vial contents to the cooled medium as per the label directions.
