Vibrio O129 Differential Disc(10 mcg) is used for differentiation of Vibrio species based on sensitivity to Vibriostatic agent O129.
Sensitivity of Vibrio to the vibrio-static agent 0129 useful in the differentiation of V ibrio fr om other gram-negative bacteria especially Aeromonas , which are characteristically resistant to 0129.
Vibrio parahaemolyticus ATCC 17802 :Partially sensitive Aeromonas hydrophila ATCC 7966 :Resistant
