Description
Hygiena Swab Stick Sponges are designed for environmental and surface microbiology sampling in food production, beverage manufacturing, pharmaceutical facilities and other hygiene-critical environments. Pre-moistened with 10ml of D/E Neutralising Broth, the sponge helps recover microorganisms from equipment, production lines, drains, walls and work surfaces, even where residual disinfectants or sanitisers may be present.
Stick Sponge allows the collection of a sample without directly handling the sponge, making it easier to reach into drains, pipes and around equipment.
The sponge is attached to an easy-release handle, allowing access to difficult-to-reach areas whilst reducing direct contact during sampling. Each kit includes sterile gloves and is supplied ready to use, making it ideal for environmental monitoring programmes, hygiene verification, contamination investigations and routine microbiological testing.
Storage: Store between 2°C and 25°C. Do not freeze
