For Patient use - Probact Amies Charcoal medium in tube, includes Polystyrene breakpoint shaft (at 45mm from tip / viscose Tip swab in peel pouch (M40 compliant). Recommended For: Clinically significant samples, but can be used to transport most fastidious & non-fastidious Micro-organisms. Ideal For: 48 hour transport of microbiological samples (including clinical) for fastidious, non-fastidious and anaerobic microorganisms including:Pseudomonas, Streptococcus, Haemophilus, Bacteroides, Peptostreptococcus, Fusobacterium, Propionibacterium, Prevotella, Gonorrhoeae, anaerobes, microaerophilics. Known Limitations: 1. DO NOT REUSE. Single use Device that is not suitable for re-work or reuse. 2. Recommended for surface sampling including shallow wounds. 3. Unsuitable for certain sample areas (body cavities, twists, bends or where poor visibility is experienced) due to the inclusion of a breakpoint. 4.
