Hiveg media recommended as Medium-B by British Pharmacopoeia for microbiological assay of polymyxin B, colistin sulphate and colistimethate sodium.
This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
