RapID™ Spot Indole Reagent

RapID™ Spot Indole Reagent is a ready-to-use diagnostic reagent formulated for the rapid detection of indole production by microorganisms. Used as part of bacterial identification workflows, it provides a quick and reliable method to determine the presence of the enzyme tryptophanase, which converts tryptophan to indole. When applied to an appropriate test area or culture, a positive reaction is indicated by the immediate development of a blue to blue-green color. This reagent is designed for use with RapID™ identification systems and other compatible microbiological tests.
