Description
Potato Dextrose Broth is used for the cultivation of fungi in a laboratory setting. Potato Dextrose Broth is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans. Potato Dextrose Broth is a general purpose broth for yeasts and molds.
Preparation
- Dissolve 24 g of the medium in one liter of purified water.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Autoclave at 121ºC for 15 minutes.
