Oxoid™ Violet Red Bile Glucose Agar (ISO) is a selective medium for the enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae in food, animal feed, and environmental samples. This medium conforms to ISO 21528 and is widely used in microbiological testing for food safety and quality control.

• Preparation: Suspend 41.5g in 1 litre of distilled water, heat to dissolve completely, bring to the boil, cool to 45–50°C, and pour into sterile Petri dishes. Do not autoclave.
