Vancomycin Supplement (1 vial per 500ml) is a selective supplement designed to inhibit the growth of Gram-positive bacteria, especially in the isolation of Enterococcus species or other target microorganisms in microbiological samples. It is typically used in combination with selective media to enhance the isolation of organisms like Enterococcus faecalis while suppressing the growth of competing Gram-positive species, particularly in food, clinical, and environmental samples.
