Description
Oxoid™ Slanetz & Bartley Medium (500g) is a selective medium specifically formulated for the enumeration and isolation of enterococci from water, food, and environmental samples. It is widely used in water quality testing to detect faecal contamination, particularly under membrane filtration methods. The medium promotes the growth of enterococci while inhibiting background flora, with colonies typically appearing pink to red after incubation.
