Oxoid™ Plate Count Agar 500g

Oxoid™ Plate Count Agar (500g) is a general-purpose medium used for the enumeration of viable microorganisms in food, water, and other environmental samples. This medium is particularly useful for the total plate count, where it supports the growth of a wide range of bacteria, including both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. It provides essential nutrients to allow the growth of most microorganisms, and it is often used in food microbiology for determining bacterial populations.
