Description
Oxoid™ Plate Count Agar (2.5kg) is a general-purpose medium used for the enumeration of viable microorganisms in food, water, and other environmental samples. This medium supports the growth of a wide variety of bacteria, both Gram-positive and Gram-negative, making it ideal for total plate count procedures. It is particularly useful in food microbiology for assessing bacterial populations, providing essential nutrients that allow for the growth of most microorganisms.
