Description
Oxoid™ MSRV Medium Base (500g) CM0910B is a selective medium designed for the isolation of Salmonella species, particularly from food and environmental samples. The medium, when supplemented with appropriate antibiotics and other reagents, enables the selective growth of Salmonella while inhibiting the growth of other microorganisms. MSRV (Motility Salmonella Rappaport Vassiliadis) is a highly sensitive medium that supports the motility of Salmonella species, which is an essential characteristic for their identification.
