Description
Oxoid™ MRS Broth (500g) is a selective medium used for the cultivation of lactic acid bacteria, particularly Lactobacillus species, from various samples, including food, clinical, and environmental specimens. The medium is enriched with nutrients that support the growth of these bacteria, which are known for their ability to ferment sugars and produce lactic acid. MRS Broth is commonly used in the dairy industry and other areas where the isolation and enumeration of lactic acid bacteria are required.
