Oxoid™ Cefoperazone & Amphotericin Supplement (1 x 500ml) is a selective supplement formulated to enhance the isolation of Campylobacter species, particularly Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli, from food and environmental samples. When added to selective media such as modified charcoal cefoperazone deoxycholate agar (mCCDA), this supplement helps inhibit the growth of contaminating Gram-negative bacteria and fungi, allowing for clearer detection of Campylobacter colonies.
