The Complete multiplex kit provides you with everything needed for rapid and accurate qPCR detection of mpox (clades I and II) and orthopox.
1. Broad detection profile: The genesig® Mpox 2G kit detects >99.9% of all full length sequences on the GISAID EpiPox™ database from both clades I and II. This includes the newly identified clade 1b (as of August 2024)
2. The product has been multiplexed to specifically detect the monkeypox virus i.e. Clade I (previously called the Congo Basin Clade) and Clade II (previously called West African clade, including subclade IIa and IIb) and orthopox virus
3. Dynamic range of test: Can detect less than 100 copies of the target template
4. Advanced and Complete Kit with open platform compatibility
5. Results available within 90 minutes
