Description
GVPC (Glycine Vancomycin Polymyxin Cycloheximide) agar is the medium used for the isolation and numerical estimation of Legionella in water samples. It is recommended by and conforms to the formulation and performance requirements of ISO 11731:2017.
GPVC is identical to Buffered Charcoal Yeast Extract agar with the exception of the addition of four selective compounds.
