Description
Lactobacillus Selective Agar Base is used for the isolation and enumeration of lactobacilli in a laboratory setting. Lactobacillus Selective Agar Base is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans.
Preparation
- Suspend 84 g of the medium in one liter of purified water. Mix thoroughly.
- Add 1.32 mL of glacial acetic acid.
- Heat with frequent agitation and boil for one minute to completely dissolve the medium.
- Avoid overheating. DO NOT AUTOCLAVE.
