The Thermo Scientific™ Heratherm™ Advanced Protocol Security Microbiological Incubator is a large-capacity laboratory incubator designed to provide reliable temperature performance and enhanced sample protection for demanding microbiological applications.

Offering a 381 litre chamber capacity, this model provides substantial working space for laboratories processing larger sample volumes. It is suitable for microbiology, pharmaceutical, clinical, research, food and beverage testing and quality control environments where consistent and controlled incubation conditions are required.

The incubator operates across a temperature range of 5°C above ambient to 105°C and uses mechanical convection to maintain consistent conditions throughout the chamber. Temperature stability and uniformity are both rated at ±0.2°C at 37°C, supporting reproducible incubation results.

A microprocessor controller with a large vacuum fluorescent display provides straightforward temperature monitoring and adjustment. Automatic over- and under-temperature alarms provide additional sample protection, while the advanced timer supports weekly, real-time and hourly operation.

For effective contamination control, the Heratherm Advanced Protocol Security incubator incorporates a 140°C decontamination cycle. This six-hour heating routine is designed to significantly reduce contaminating microorganisms within the chamber and removes the need to separately autoclave the internal fittings.

The incubator features an AISI 304 stainless-steel inner chamber for durability and straightforward cleaning, combined with a coated-steel exterior. An internal glass door allows samples to be viewed without unnecessarily disturbing the chamber temperature. Two shelves are supplied as standard, with capacity for up to 39 shelves.
