Sterile Horse Serum is designed for use as a nutrient supplement in microbiological culture media, helping support the growth and recovery of microorganisms that require enriched conditions. It can be added to both broths and agar media and is commonly used in clinical microbiology, diagnostic testing and laboratory culture applications.

The serum is sterile filtered to 0.2µm and supplied ready for aseptic addition to prepared media. It should be stored frozen at-20°C until required.
