SGL Half Fraser Broth (Complete) is a ready-to-use selective enrichment medium supplied in 500ml bottles for the detection and recovery of Listeria species. Manufactured to ISO methodology requirements, the medium is commonly used in food and beverage production, dairy testing, environmental monitoring and quality control laboratories as the primary enrichment stage during Listeria testing. The formulation helps recover stressed or injured Listeria cells from food and environmental samples whilst suppressing competing microorganisms, improving the likelihood of detecting low levels of contamination. The ready-prepared format removes the need for media preparation and sterilisation, helping laboratories save valuable time whilst maintaining consistency across testing programmes.
