Description
The genesig Mpox kit detects >99.9% of all full length sequences on the GISAID Epipox database from both clades I (previously called the Congo Basin clade) and Clade II (previously called West African clade). This includes the newly identified clade 1b.
In response to the declaration of a public health emergency by the WHO, Primerdesign is ready to support the emergency response with our genesig Complete Kit for Mpox 2G and Advanced Kit for Mpox 2G.
The qPCR assay has been multiplexed to specifically detect the monkeypox virus and orthopox virus.
