Description
The Grant bio DEN-1 is a compact benchtop densitometers (suspension turbidity meter) for measuring turbidity of cell suspensions in a variety of life science applications.
The densitometer is designed, and factory calibrated to measure turbidity in the range of McFarland units. For DEN-1 it is 0.00 to >15.00 McFarland units with a small standard deviation.
Densitometers are commonly used in laboratory and clinical environments to measure liquid concentration and sample density, supporting applications such as urinalysis, microbiology, and quality control. This unit is ideal for general laboratory use including solution preparation, microbial analysis, and consistency testing
