Description
SGL BSCP Tween Broth (Buffered Sodium Chloride Peptone Tween Broth) is a ready-to-use isotonic diluent designed for the recovery and handling of microorganisms during pharmaceutical, cosmetic and microbiological testing procedures. The formulation is commonly used for dissolving, suspending and diluting test samples whilst helping maintain microorganism viability throughout the testing process.
The inclusion of Tween enhances the neutralising properties of the medium, helping to reduce the effects of residual preservatives, disinfectants or antimicrobial substances that may be present in test samples. This makes BSCP Tween Broth particularly useful during microbial limit testing, sterility testing, process validation and environmental monitoring programmes where reliable microorganism recovery is essential.
Supplied in convenient 90ml syrup bottles, the medium is ready to use and helps deliver consistent results whilst reducing laboratory preparation time.
