DURAN® Original GL laboratory bottles have set the benchmark for multifunctional laboratory glassware since their introduction in 1972. Manufactured from high-purity, USP/EP Type I DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3, these amber bottles offer excellent thermal performance and outstanding resistance to chemical attack, ensuring durability and long service life.

The integrated amber outer layer is permanently fused to the glass, providing reliable protection for light-sensitive contents against UV exposure and photodegradation. This level of protection meets international USP and EP standards and remains effective throughout the lifetime of the bottle.

Each bottle features a clear, easy-to-read graduated scale and a marking area in durable white enamel for convenient identification. A permanent Retrace Code is included for full manufacturing traceability. The bottle is compatible with GL 45 closures and can be supplied with a blue polypropylene cap and drip-free pouring ring, suitable for use up to 140 °C. All components are fully autoclavable at 121 °C or 134 °C.
