Description
Diaphragm Pump – High Performance Vacuum Pump for Laboratory Applications
The diaphragm pump is a high-efficiency vacuum pump consisting of a robust pump body and a powerful drive motor. The pump casing houses the drive unit and two opposing pump heads, each equipped with a precision-moulded diaphragm and two high-quality working valves. Both pump heads are driven by an eccentric shaft with a connecting rod, ensuring smooth, reliable, and low-vibration operation.
Ideal Applications
This laboratory diaphragm vacuum pump is ideal for use with:
- Rotary evaporators
- Vacuum ovens up to 55 litres and 5 mbar
- Concentrators and other vacuum systems
The single-piece moulded diaphragm delivers improved pressure performance with exceptionally quiet operation. The precision diaphragm design reduces vibration and allows easier cleaning, especially when using the gas ballast function. A new advanced pump head design also provides longer service intervals and lower maintenance costs.
Chemical-Resistant Materials
The pump is manufactured using high-quality, chemically resistant materials for maximum durability and performance:
- PTFE – Form-moulded diaphragms
- PTFE – Pump heads
- PTFE – Vacuum hose
- PEEK – Valves
- EPDM – Seals
- PVDF – Screw fittings
Suitable For
The diaphragm vacuum pumps MPC 303 Z and MPC 603 E are designed for:
- Pumping and compressing neutral and aggressive gases and vapours
- Generating a vacuum down to an ultimate pressure of < 5 mbar
- Use in physical and chemical laboratories
- Industrial and research applications
- Vacuum filtration, vacuum distillation, vacuum drying, and general vacuum technology processes
These diaphragm vacuum pumps provide reliable, oil-free, low-maintenance operation, making them an excellent choice for demanding laboratory and industrial environments.
