Description

Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is used in qualitative procedures for cultivation of pathogenic and non-pathogenic fungi, particularly dermatophytes. The medium may be rendered more selective for fungi by the addition of antimicrobics. Meets European Pharmacopoeia (EP), Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP) and United States Pharmacopeia (USP) performance specifications, where applicable.
