The FC2020 is designed exclusively to be used with HANNA® Instruments edge® HI-2020
The conical tip design is ideal for pH measurements into samples such as milk, yogurt, cheese, and other products in the dairy industry. Easy to plug in 3.5mm connector. Due to the design with its open junction design which consists of a solid gel interface (viscolene) between the sample and internal Ag/AgCl reference makes it impermeable to clogging giving consistent results.
Can be used in a range of Operating temperatures 0 to 60°C due to the glass tip using Low temperature galss with lower resistance of around 50 Megahohms compared to general purpose glass around 100 Megahohms.
A built in intelligent microchip stores many details incuding the type of sensor, serial number and calibration information, date, time and type of buffer. Once connected this information is then retrieved by the edge® HI-2020.
With a PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) body is food grade plastic resistant to most chemicals and has high abrasion, ultraviolet and nuclear radiation resistance as well as fungal growth.
