Description
The pH electrode is the key component in pH measurement and demands proper care and attention. Before recalibrating and reusing the electrode for another measurement, it is essential to remove any contamination.
When dealing with protein contamination or other inorganic residues, rinsing with deionized water alone is insufficient. In these cases, using a Pepsin-HCl solution is recommended.
