Oxoid™ XLD (Xylose Lysine Deoxycholate) Agar is a selective differential medium used primarily for the isolation of Salmonella and Shigella species from clinical, food, and environmental samples. The formulation supports the growth of enteric pathogens while inhibiting non-target flora.
