Description
Oxoid™ Wort Agar (500g) is a selective medium primarily used for the cultivation of yeasts and moulds from various samples. The medium is enriched with malt extract, providing a nutrient-rich environment to support the growth of a wide variety of fungi, including those from food, clinical, and environmental sources. It is particularly useful for the isolation and enumeration of yeasts and moulds in the food industry and other microbiological applications.
