Oxoid™ Plate Count Agar Standard Methods Agar (5kg) is a versatile, non-selective medium used for the enumeration of viable microorganisms in food, dairy, and water samples. It is formulated in accordance with the "Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater" for microbial testing. This agar supports the growth of a wide range of bacteria, making it ideal for determining the total microbial count in a variety of sample types. It is frequently used for quality control purposes in food microbiology and environmental testing.
