Oxoid™ Milk Plate Count Agar (500g) is a selective medium designed for the enumeration of microorganisms, particularly Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB), in milk and dairy products. This medium is used for the assessment of microbiological quality in milk and dairy production environments. The agar provides essential nutrients that support the growth of a broad range of microorganisms while allowing for easy colony counting. It is especially useful in dairy microbiology for monitoring hygiene and product safety.
