The Oxoid™ Microbact™ GNB 12B Kit is a biochemical identification system for the rapid and reliable identification of oxidase-negative, Gram-negative bacilli, particularly members of the family Enterobacteriaceae. It is widely used in clinical, food, and environmental laboratories for the presumptive identification of medically and industrially significant bacteria.

The kit contains microtitre plate strips with 12 standardised biochemical substrates, enabling easy-to-read colour reactions and interpretation against an included codebook or database.
