Description
Oxoid™ Membrane Lauryl Sulphate Broth (500g) is a selective medium used in the membrane filtration method for the detection and enumeration of coliform organisms in water samples. It contains lauryl sulphate as a selective agent to inhibit non-coliform bacteria, while supporting the growth of Escherichia coli and other coliforms. This medium is widely used in the monitoring of drinking water, wastewater, and environmental samples.
