Oxoid™ Maximum Recovery Diluent (MRD) is a high-quality, non-nutrient solution designed to suspend and recover microorganisms from food and environmental samples. It is primarily used to ensure that microorganisms, especially those that may be stressed, remain viable for further microbiological analysis. This product provides an isotonic environment, allowing for minimal interference with the natural recovery process of the microorganisms.
