Description
Oxoid™ MacConkey Broth is a differential and selective medium designed for the detection and enumeration of coliform bacteria in water, milk, and other samples. It is commonly used in microbiological laboratories for water quality testing and complies with standard protocols for coliform testing in food and water.
This broth formulation supports the growth of coliform bacteria while inhibiting the growth of gram-positive organisms, providing a reliable medium for selective enrichment.
