Oxoid™ MacConkey Agar with Salt is a selective and differential medium designed for the isolation and enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae and other Gram-negative bacteria from clinical, food, and water samples. The inclusion of added salt enhances selectivity for halotolerant organisms, making it particularly suitable for marine or salted food microbiology.
Supplied in convenient 90mm pre-poured plates, this format offers ease of use and consistency for routine laboratory testing.
