Oxoid™ Giolitti-Cantoni Broth (500g) is a selective enrichment medium used primarily for the isolation and detection of Salmonella species from food, water, and environmental samples. This broth is specifically designed for the selective enrichment of Salmonella, particularly when testing for the presence of this pathogen in foodstuffs. It supports the recovery of injured Salmonella bacteria and helps in enhancing their growth before they are transferred to selective media for further isolation.
