Oxoid™ Chromogenic Coliform Agar (ISO) (500g) is a selective and differential medium used for the detection and enumeration of coliforms and Escherichia coli in food, water, and environmental samples. This medium is formulated according to ISO 9308-1 standards, offering a reliable, rapid method for identifying coliform bacteria based on characteristic colony colouration. The chromogenic substrates in the medium allow for the differentiation of coliforms and E. coli by the distinct colour of their colonies.
