Description
Oxoid™ Brilliant Green Agar (Modified) (Dehydrated) is a selective and differential medium formulated for the isolation and identification of Salmonella species (excluding Salmonella typhi) from food, feed, and water samples. This modified formulation enhances the inhibition of non-target organisms, providing improved selectivity for Salmonella.

- Preparation: Suspend 52g in 1 liter of distilled water, bring to the boil with frequent agitation to dissolve completely, cool to 50°C, mix well, and pour into sterile Petri dishes
- Yield: Approximately 96 liters of prepared medium
- Storage: Store in the original packaging between 10°C and 30°C, protect from moisture and light
- Compliance: Suitable for use in clinical microbiology laboratories for the detection and differentiation of Salmonella species
