Oxoid™ Brilliant Green Agar 500g

Oxoid™ Brilliant Green Agar (500g) is a selective and differential medium used for the isolation and differentiation of Salmonella species, particularly Salmonella enterica, from clinical, environmental, and food samples. The medium contains brilliant green dye, which inhibits the growth of most Gram-positive and many Gram-negative organisms, while allowing the growth of Salmonella species. The medium is particularly useful in distinguishing Salmonella from other enteric bacteria based on colony appearance.
