Description
Oxoid™ Baird Parker Medium Base (ISO) (500g) is a selective and differential medium used for the isolation and enumeration of Staphylococcus aureus from food, dairy, and environmental samples. Developed according to ISO 6888 standards, it supports the recovery of coagulase-positive Staphylococci, with characteristic colony morphology that aids in identification. Supplementation with egg yolk tellurite emulsion enhances both selectivity and differentiation.
