Maintain viability and maximize the recovery of microorganisms with protective and isotonic Thermo Scientific™ Maximum Recovery Diluent.
Maximum Recovery Diluent combines the protective effect of peptone in the diluting solution1 with the osmotic support of physiological saline1,2.
The isotonic strength of Maximum Recovery Diluent ensures recovery of organisms from various sources which may be vulnerable in distilled water or aqueous suspensions.
The low concentration of peptone does not cause multiplication of the organisms within 1 to 2 hours of dilution of the sample.
