Description
MacConkey Agar No. 3 is used for the cultivation of Enterobacteriaceae and is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans.
Preparation
- Dissolve 35 g of the medium in one liter of purified water.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Dispense into tubes containing Durham tubes.
- Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.
