Description
LP Italiana Sterile Water Sampling Bottles with Sodium Thiosulfate offer a quality HDPE with a square base making them ideal for water sample collection and storage.
They contain Sodium Thiosulphate making them suitable for examining water that may contain chlorine such as drinking and swimming pools, along with other types of water where chlorine may alter the arrangement of the sample while being transported.
Each 500 ml bottle has clear volume markings and a secure 35 mm screw cap with a safety gasket, plus tamper‑evident seal. They’re pre‑sterilised by radiation and dosed with sodium thiosulfate (~20 mg/L) to neutralise chlorine and oxidants, preserving sample integrity during transport.
Key features and benefits
- Contains Sodium Thiosulphate for use with chlorinated water
- Larger flat sides for easier and clearer labelling
- Chlorine neutralisation: Sodium thiosulfate eliminates residual chlorine and oxidants, ensuring accurate microbiological analysis.
-
Robust and leak‑proof: HDPE material is chemical‑resistant and drop‑proof; cap design includes an O‑ring gasket and tamper seal to prevent leaks.
- Easy labelling and handling: The Smooth flat surfaces allow for easy labelling, graduated volume marks, and a square shape for stability and efficient storage.
- Traceability: Batch numbers and expiration dates are printed on each bottle and case, supporting full sample traceability.
- Ready‑to‑use convenience: Supplied sterile and pre‑filled with sodium thiosulfate, reducing prep time and minimising contamination risk.
- Great value
Applications:
- Drinking water testing: Ideal for municipal or bottled water analysis, ensuring chlorine doesn’t skew results.
