HiMedia™ M146-100G Corn Meal Agar is a 100 g packet of ready-made powder that you mix with water and sterilise to create a special culture medium. It’s a simple mix of corn meal infusion and agar. This medium encourages fungi—especially Candida species—to grow in a way that helps lab workers spot a specific type of spore (chlamydospores) under the microscope. It’s widely used in microbiology labs for testing fungi from clinical, food, or environmental samples.
